The Agility Content REST API allows you to publish content to your website, mobile apps, social media pages, digital signage, or other digital channels.
Agility can be used to manage a website built in ASP.NET. It supports both Web Forms and MVC.
Agility is 100% Web based which means there is no hardware or software to install. All you need is an internet connection and a Web browser.
Agility allows you to edit content without having to learn HTML. If you know how to use a word processor, you can edit content with Agility.
Agility allows you to build the page structure for your site and define page settings like title, keywords, description and URL.
Content in Agility is completely customizable. You choose the fields that you need for your specific content structure and Agility automatically builds the form to capture that content.
The latest copy of your content is available in staging to be previewed in your site or app before it is published and goes live.
Agility allows you to set up the publishing workflow that makes sense for your business. Contributors and Editors add and edit content, approvers review and approve content and publishers publish pages. Agility generates tasks to streamline the publishing process.
Agility makes it easy to customize the security on your content. Security settings are easy to change at any time.
Agility allows you to define the period of time that content is available. Simply set the 'Release date' and 'Pull date' of content so that it is only available on your site in the time frame that is valid for that particular content.
Content editors can validate their HTML content right in the editor to make sure that it conforms to the latest Web standards. This will improve the search engine optimization of your site.
Documents of any file type can be uploaded to the global Documents store which is accessible from any content on the site. A Zip archive of files can be uploaded and extracted, maintaining the same folder structure as the archive
A master list of tags can be created and assigned to content. The tags are available through the API so that you can define the behavior of tagged content in your site or app.
Agility Digital Content can have multiple languages. Setting up a new language can be done in a few clicks and languages can be added at any time without having to rebuild your site. Your site can have a different set of pages for each language. Translators can easily flip between specific content sections in each language to rapidly translate content directly in the system. Content is copied from English to the language you are translating to for easy reference.
If you have a large site that needs to be translated into multiple languages, we will export the content from any language, provide it to the translators for translation, and then import the content back into Agility. Within minutes, your translated content will populate the site.
Agility is built with SEO in mind. Agility pages have human-readable URLs and are generated with a small amount of code. This ensures that your pages will be indexed quickly and often. Agility allows you to add Meta keywords and descriptions to every page of your site and makes content optimization fast and easy. HTML can be validated right in the editor to make sure that it is compliant with the latest standards.
Agility supports all major analytics packages including Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, and ClickTracks. You can add a general analytics script to all pages, or tune your results by adding specific scripts to a specific page.
Agility brings an industry leading level of performance to your Web site. The proprietary Agility caching technology extends the caching technology in ASP.NET to provide blazing fast performance on any size of site with any traffic load. Agility also supports load balanced configurations for your Web site.
Manage the styles for your site by editing the site style sheet. Styles are replicated in the WYSIWYG editor for content editors to make use of.
Compatible with major e-commerce platforms including PayPal, Moneris, Oracle iStore, OrderMotion, OrderDynamics, ATG and more.
Agility can be integrated into best of breed solutions for search, video management, e-commerce, ad serving and any other solutions with an API. Agility has been integrated with the following sites and systems:
Agility allows you to switch between multiple accounts quickly and easily.
All content in Agility can be syndicated to your favorite social media sites. A Twitter or Facebook field can be added to your content types. Content that is entered into these fields will be syndicated to Twitter or Facebook automatically when the content is published to the site. All content in Agility is also available for syndication using RSS.
Agility content can easily be published to mobile apps using the content API.
The User Generated Content module handles website user profiles, predefined UGC like comments, votes and likes, and customized user generated content, like contest submissions, photos, videos, web forms, etc.
UGC allows you to easily add voting, rating, and liking/disliking to your content. You can pick the type of response you want and customize the appearance of the vote button, rating mechanism and like/dislike images.
Agility UGC provides complete user profile management. You can pick the fields you want to collect for the user and authenticate users in a snap. Users can be activated immediately or forced through a moderation process before they can log in. You can also integrate your logins with Facebook Connect so that users of your site or app can log in with Facebook. You can have multiple user types, each with their own specific fields.
You can set up and configure your own content types. For example, you may wish to capture user generated photos for a contest along with the location of the photo and the date it was taken. Using the Agility graphical user interface, you can pick the field names and types that you wish to capture. You can then save and retrieve content from your custom content types using the API.
Agility allows you to manage user generated video. Video can be added to any content type, including the built in Comments type. User generated videos are automatically converted and stored in either YouTube, Brightcove or Ooyala. Video platform accounts are sold separately, but we can help you get them set up.
Agility allows you to manage user generated photos. Photos can be added to any content type. User generated photos can be stored in Agility only, or syndicated to a Flickr gallery.
Content can be automatically published to the site as it is submitted, or configured to go through a moderation process before it is posted live. When moderation is turned on, new content starts in the Awaiting Review queue where it is reviewed by moderators. Moderators can choose to Publish, Decline or Escalate new content.
Published content will show up on your site or app. Declined content goes into the Rejected Content list and does not show up on the site. Escalated content is flagged for a 'Senior Moderator' to have a look. When content is declined or published, the moderator can send a customized note back to the user submitting it, describing their next steps. All changes to the content are tracked in the Version History so a record is made of who published, or declined content and when.
Content types can be restricted to specific moderators, so users will only have access to the content that they are assigned to.
User generated content can have a Draft status which allows users submitting content to keep a Draft copy of their content before they submit it for review. For example, if you have a blog site that allows end users of your site to contribute, users can save a draft of their blog posts before they submit them for review. Once submitted by the end user, blog posts would go into the Awaiting Review queue, or be published automatically if moderation is turned off.
User generated content can be configured to pass through a 'bad word' filter before it is published or queued for review. When content is submitted, it is compared to a customizable bad word list and put in the Rejected list if something is found. Moderators can then review the Rejected list and edit and publish content if they choose to.
Content can also be flagged as abusive by end users of the site. Each content type has a threshold of how many users have to flag an item before it is automatically rejected from the site. For example, you might set the abuse threshold of your comment to 3 meaning that if three users click the 'report abuse' link beside a given comment, it will automatically come down from the site. Moderators always have the option to edit rejected comments and re-publish them to the site.
There is an API to develop custom reports which are then embedded into the Reports screen.
