How much does Agility cost?
Monthly fees start at $500 per month for hosting, bandwidth, licensing, support and upgrades. Discounts are given for annual or multi-year contracts.
An Agility-managed site typically costs $10,000 to $100,000 for our implementation services team to set up.
How is Agility different from other content management systems?
There are a number of differentiators:

Can we host Agility internally or on a different hosting provider?
No. The Agility Content Manager and Content Server applications are hosted and maintained by us. This allows us to instantly release new features to all of our clients, similar to Facebook or Salesforce.com. We also eliminate the burden of having to manage software and infrastructure yourself. However, you can host the website at the location of your choice.
Can we build sites on Agility?
Yes. We can provide your development team or development partner with the tools, training and support they need to build Agility sites.
Do I have to use certain guidelines when designing pages for my Agility-managed site?
Anything you can do with HTML, CSS, Flash and Javascript, you can do with an Agility site. There are no limitations on design for your Agility site. However, there are certain design guidelines that we recommend to ensure your site is built efficiently.
Do you provide documentation and training on Agility?
We provide a complete Tutorial and Reference Guide that covers all of the functionality of Agility. When we implement a site, we provide customized documentation that provides step-by-step instructions on how to manage the content on your specific site. We include training as part of the setup and customization fee for your site.
Do you provide content entry services?
Typically, we recommend that our clients complete the majority of content entry so that the users who are going to be managing the site can get comfortable with the system. We also provide content entry services at a reasonable rate.
Do you provide translation services?
No, but Agility has the tools to streamline the translation process. You can export your entire site to Excel, send to your translators and re-import when the translation is complete.
What happens if we want to disconnect our site from Agility?
You can disconnect your site whenever you choose, according to the terms of your Agility license and service level agreement. When your site is disconnected from Agility it will remain in the state that it was in when it was last published. Once your site is disconnected, you would not be able to make any content changes to it without the help of a programmer.
Can we move our site to another CMS if we don’t like Agility?
It is difficult to move your site to another CMS if you don’t like Agility. We recommend that you speak with our references before committing to Agility so that you are comfortable with your decision.
Does Agility support all languages including Chinese and Arabic?
Yes. Agility content is stored using UTF-16 which means that it supports all of the languages of the world.
Will my Agility site have W3C standard HTML so that it is compliant with all search engines?
Agility pages are all rendered as standard HTML as long as the content that is entered is also standard. The Agility content editor has a built in validator to ensure that the content you enter is compliant.
Does Agility have a built in analytics engine?
No. Agility is designed to integrate with leading analytics tools. Script-based analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and log-based analytics tools, such as ClickTracks are both supported.
Does Agility have a built in email marketing system?
There is an Agility module for handling email blasts. More involved email marketing that requires click, open, and other tracking should be handled by a software system that is specifically designed for that. If we implement your site, we will create a module to integrate your site with the email marketing platform of your choice.
Can I integrate my Agility site with other internal systems such as my CRM or accounting system?
Yes. One of the key differentiators of Agility of its flexibility for integrating with other systems. The Agility website framework is an extension of ASP.NET so anything you can do with ASP.NET, you can do with Agility. Contact us for case studies of integrating Agility with internal systems.
Does Agility support LDAP security?
No. Agility has its own built in security. However, You can integrate LDAP security on your website.
What happens to my website if Agility goes down?
Agility is decoupled from your website, so if Agility goes down, your website is unaffected. However, if Agility goes down, you will have to wait for it to come back up before you can edit content.
Will Agility be able to handle the load on my site?
Yes. A key differentiator of Agility is its ability to scale under load. With the decoupled nature of Agility, the performance of your site is tied to the set up of your web server environment. This gives you the freedom to set up your site to perform under any load. We have a number of multi-server implementations that include 2 to 9 load-balanced web servers.
How long does it typically take to build an Agility-managed site?
Depending on the complexity, it can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months to build and Agility site. We can assess your requirements and prepare a quote and timeline for free.
