Agility CMS - Create and Manage Vibrant Websites

Technical Details

An Agility site is broken down into Templates and Modules.  Templates define the layout of pages.  Modules define content or functionality within each page.

Templates

Templates define the structure of an Agility page.  They establish where the menus go, where images are displayed, how text content is laid out, and where editable sections go. Agility gives you the freedom to choose styles, colors, imagery, layout and the sections of the site can be modified.  With Agility, you are not bound to our conventions.  Anything a you can do with Flash, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and ASP.NET, you can do with an Agility template.

An Agility site can have any number of Templates.  When you create a new page, you select the template that defines the layout of the given page.  Templates can be previewed before they are chosen to make sure that the correct one was selected.  The preview shows you how the page will be laid out and where content managed sections or “Module Zones” will go.

Templates for your Agility site are developed according to your requirements by expert CMS developers.

Modules

All content and functionality in Agility is added to the page as a Module.   Modules can be anything from an area of free-form rich text to an image gallery or video player.  We have a library of pre-existing modules which can be stylized for your site and custom modules can easily be built for content and functionality that is specific to your site.

After creating a page, you can add managed content to that page by adding Modules into the Module Zones for the page.

The Modules used on your site are either taken from our pre-built Module library or built custom to your specific requirements.  Part of the planning process is to determine what Modules are required for your site.
